Our capabilities in the metals industries are answering the needs of today's machine shops. The ability to provide affordable "investment" or first cut products allow our customers to use fewer tools and less operator time to "hog out" a precision part. Although Jetmachining can produce tolerances of 0.005 to 0.007, very affordable machining can be provided at more relaxed tolerances.
Materials that can be jetmachined:
Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Glass, Brass, Composites, Ceramics, Aluminum
Mild Steel, Hardened Tool Steel, Rubber, Teflon and many more.
Other processes compared to jetmachining:
Compared to Wire EDM: 5-10 times faster, cuts conductive and non-conductive material, no heat-affected zone.
Compared to Laser: thicker materials, cuts reflective materials.
Compared to Abrasive Machining: Less setup time, no preprocessing of materials, no tool wear, better material utilization.
